Lookin Good
Pro-Tec Environmental Gloss
Treatment.
Your vehicle's finish is exposed
to many harmful elements - road
salt, tree sap, bird droppings,
insect remains, industrial
fallout and acid rain. These are
the conditions that your factory
warranty may not cover*. As a
matter of fact, many automotive
manufacturers have resorted to
shrink wrapping their new
vehicles in plastic sheets. This
has been proven to be the most
effective method available today
to insure that your car or truck
will make it from the assembly
plant to their dealers lots
without incurring any
environmental damage. An
unprotected finish (especially a
new vehicle with fresh paint) is
very vulnerable to permanent
damage, as noted by the
Environmental Protection
Agency's Acid Rain Program. "The
effects of acid rain on
automotive coatings" "Usually
the damage is permanent, once it
has occurred the only solution
is to repaint" In addition the
EPA states that "Because
evaporation of acidic moisture
appears to be a key element in
the damage, any steps taken to
eliminate its occurrence on
freshly painted vehicles may
alleviate the problem. The steps
include frequent washing
followed by hand drying,
covering the vehicle during
precipitation events, and use of
one of the protective coatings
currently on the market that
claim to protect the original
finish."
Pro-Tec Gloss Treatment is a
co-polymer which provides full
warranted protection against
environmental damage. Damage
caused by acid rain, tree sap,
bird droppings and road salt.
This includes full repair or
re-painting of damaged surfaces
for up to five years from date
of application on new vehicles,
slightly reduced coverage on
qualified used vehicles**
Remember to use your Pro-Tec
Gloss Preserver at least once
every six months. |
